Sri Sathya Sai Medical Camps

In efforts to place into practice Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings of providing free selfless loving service to those who are most in need in our communities, Sri Sathya Sai Medical Camps are brought into disadvantaged, underserved and often remote areas throughout the world, offering a range of medical services including general health check-ups, diagnostic tests, and treatments for various illnesses. The purpose of these medical camps is to provide healthcare services to people who may not have access to medical facilities due to their geographical location or financial constraints.  The medical camps are staffed by volunteer doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who selflessly offer their services to the community.

The rationale behind these medical camps is rooted in the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, who believed in the importance of selfless service and compassion towards all. He frequently reminded all to  “Love all, serve all; help ever, hurt never.” The Sri Sathya Sai Medical Camps embody this philosophy, and seek to provide free medical care and support to those who need it the most, without any expectation of reward or recognition.

Doctors should look after the patients with the same care they would show to their kith and kin.

One can be blissful only when one serves the poor and the needy. Poor people suffer and struggle a lot; many do not even get a square meal a day and cannot buy medicines.
